Why FISIF
FISIF insures more than $480 million of the New Mexico food industry's annual payrolls, and does it at a big savings in premiums to members of the association. FISIF is a Worker's Comp Program providing state-approved "self-insurance" coverage for YOUR business.
The state closely audits the procedures and moneys of the Fund, and because of the safety procedures and a good safety record, allows the Fund to charge a reduced premium. Membership in either the NM Restaurant Association or NM Grocers Association is required for eligibility to this program. Please see our Membership page for more information on eligibility.
